Hospital chaplaincy
Hospital Chaplaincy is the coalface of ministry. Through the Melbourne Anglican Foundation, Chaplains are placed at several major hospitals around Melbourne.
A donation to support Chaplaincy is a commitment to the presence of Jesus amongst the sick and their families.
"Hospital is no place for a child - but when they have to be there, we’ll be there too.”
One hospital Chaplain reported on a conversation with a patient, “I can talk to you about anything when you visit; when my family come I feel like I have to put on a brave face for them.”
The Melbourne Anglican Foundation Chaplaincy fund assists in Hospital Chaplaincy at several locations around Melbourne. Donations over $2 are tax deductible.
