The Anglican Foundation
The Foundation exists to support parishes, agencies and activities of the Diocese.
Building on our Foundation...a message from Archbishop Philip Freier In 2007 the Foundation celebrated its 20th year. During that period the capital has grown to a level where it now assists with funding a range of important projects of the Anglican Church. I commend the Foundation to donors who wish to support Anglican youth ministry, hospital chaplaincy and projects for disadvantaged children and families and of course refugees. Add to this the new Cultural Fund which will give a creative dimension to parish projects. Th e Foundation offers Anglicans choice. There are many interesting projects to consider. Not all of them are tax deductible, for instance clergy training needs our support too. I would like to encourage you to contact the Foundation office and learn more about the projects, volunteering or becoming a member of the Foundation. Notifi cation of a bequest to the Foundation entitles individuals to Life Membership and is an excellent way of making a lasting gift. I see a bright future for the Anglican Church in its partnership with the Foundation. Please consider what the Foundation can do for your parish and how you might support the Foundation. + Philip | Download the Melbourne Anglican Foundation Brochure |
